STORYTIME: I posted a TikTok saying I’d be in Seattle soon and wanted to see if any couples wanted to shoot with me — and honestly, I didn’t expect much. But the comments came in and I was shocked. If I hadn’t put myself out there, if I hadn’t used the community right in front of me, I never would’ve met these two.

This shoot reminded me how powerful it is to simply ask. How connection can show up in the most unexpected places. How traveling to somewhere new can reignite creativity in ways you didn’t even know you needed.

Hagan and Alyssa are close friends of ours. Hagan played college basketball with my husband, and Alyssa and I became so close while cheering them on from the sidelines at every game. Even though we live farther apart now, our friendship has stayed strong, and I’m so grateful to know them.
